AUTOMATIC CROSS-CUTTING AND SLITTING MACHINE
Relco present the CC-X Panel Cutting machine. This versatile machine
will cross-cut and slit a wide range of materials from fine medical
grade fibres through to heavy plastics, without adjustment. Taking the
material from rolls (up to 3 at once) at the rear of the machine the
CC-X unwinds through the slitting system and over a table which straightens
the web ensuring a clean, square cut. The material is mechanically indexed
along the table and is then clamped under the self-sharpening rotary
cutter knife. The special cutting system ensures a clean cut of even
the most difficult materials, allowing the cut panel to fall onto the
discharge table where it can be removed by the operator or taken by
a pick & place system (as below). The CC-X can be set to cut a certain
number of lengths and left to run, the operator only needing to change
reels, remove cut panels and re-start machine when required number have
been cut.
