The Relco FCS-Auto is a fully automatic stand alone in-line foil sealing machine designed to work with a wide range of container shapes and sizes. This induction sealing technology provides perfect seal consistency, lower sealing time, reduced energy consumption and improved operator safety.

This system uses the patented Relco ‘Punch&Seal’single stroke foil
cutting, locating and sealing tooling. Foil is fed through this tool which die cuts into the required profile then using vacuum to hold it on the head, the tool continues to move down transporting the foil onto location on the container neck. Once the foil is located,the head maintains the pressure required for sealing and the induction cycle is activated. During this process,heat is generated within the foil itself with the head remaining cold. When the required sealing temperature is reached (typically 0.3 to 0.7 seconds) the induction power is switched off but head pressure can be maintained to allow the seal to cool whilst still being held against the container. The operation of this system is safe, clean and efficient with no heated tooling inside the machine.

Container transport systems can either be on a simple linear conveyor, using a lead-screw or (as pictured) with an accumulator and a flighted belt for higher output. The system can be configured to operate with different sized containers using tool-free quick change ‘Punch&Seal’ cartridges. All machines are custom built with the number of sealing heads and overall size of the being variable to accommodate required output rates.
